A little sun room with some really rotten, cracked and spalling concrete. The flooring had to be replaced often because of the moisture coming up through the concrete. We dug out the soft spots, widened the cracks, then filled the holes with concrete and filled the smaller cracks with 5000 psi self leveling concrete. Then we isolated all the cracks with fiberglass mesh and Red Guard, so they wouldn’t show right back up. After that we poured 2 caps of SLC. Then we were finally able to apply the concrete microtopping, brush it, saw it, and stain it. It’s a beautiful floor now, you would never know the concrete below was mostly destroyed. This was a true restoration job.
